Not sure if you other Direct TV users have noticed or not but recently Direct TV has done a software update to their Direct TV DVR systems. These downloads usually happen at night while your sleeping and not watching your Directv. The new updates seem to leave the interface with a more vibrant look and feel. Not so gloomy anymore. I rather like it. Again, you don't need to do anything to download these updates. They just happen all by themselves.
This is the 6.3 update we have all been waiting for. The greatest things in my opinion about this update is now the DVR puts your shows in Folders when you have more then one of the same show. The navigation is just a lot better. You can sort it by date or title, although I believe that was in the last update as well.
You don't get charged for these updates, you get them for free. These are only on Direct TV DVR unit. So if you haven't noticed the update then your reciever probably isn't supported.
